i am looking for a for a song 1 bed flat in plumstead in london that i could rent cheaply

Answer: London is high-priced ... You will not find cheap places,,, well depends what you consider cheap .. You can only question at local letting agents etc . A bed sit is likely to cost £60 to £80 a week so a unqualified would be more ..

I have a £20,000 set and can borrow up to £120,000.

I'm looking for a property to buy and rent out in London - probably a 1 bed flat at best.

What could I get for this in terms of rental gain and in what area?

Answer: There is only one way to find out. Buy a shire newspaper and look at the property for rent ads. It's a no brainer, as they say.
