When I was a little boy I grew up in London and loved researching the city's history, particularly the darker aspects; felony, punishment, riots, controversy etc.

Then I moved with my family to deepest, darkest Dorset. I've by the skin

I stand in want to find out info on a pub in White Lion Street, Islington that is now a bar called JayCube.

Answer: You basic to go to the archives of the London Borough of Islington and search old maps and planning records and possibly the archives of any old newspapers. Thebrewery may have advice but the pub haschange hands a few times so I doubt the current owners
