Augh! I have found these undersized bugs in my house, just a few but where there's a few there's more. I cannot for the life of me figure out what they are, and I don't know anyone in town to ask. I recently moved from Canada (Ontario) to England, and

Answer: Submerge like silverfish (Lepisma saccharina).

They are not "pests" but non-toxic relics of some of the earliest insects that ever evolved. They belong to the family Thysanura (bristletails) and have relatives that stay outdoors
