How Do I Get From Stratford, To London Paddington On The Tube?

Its on new years day (1st January 2009). I necessity to get to London paddington on the quickest possible route.

Here is the timetable ,

CHELMSFORD 15:57 Rear NATIONAL EXPRESS EAST ANGLIA
STRATFORD

Answer: This connection will take you to the Transport for London website which has a journey planner & tube maps. You would take the Central Line to Oxford Circus then convert to the Bakerloo Line and get off at Paddington

Where Can I Park And Take The Tube Into London?

i am restless into london from the M40 what's the best place to park and travel onto central london? i would like to use the tube, i was sensible to park at an airport but surely there must be somewhere closer?

Answer: Most beneficent thing to do is to park in Hillingdon Station - its just a few hundred yards off the M40. Hillingdon is the duplicate from last station on the Metropolitan line so that means you'll always get a seat on the train.

How Fast Do The London Tube Trains Travel??

Went on the Tube for the first space yesterday on a visit to London. Was amazed at how fast they go! Anyone have a speed for this trains??

Answer: Not as brief as they seem. The Jubilee Line has a line speed of 55mph which is one of the fastest. The Metropolitan Line, even though it has the oldest trains, is the quickest because the stations are some footage apart.

Everyone tells me that a choose journey, including a tube and bus ride, should be a single price, but I keep on getting charged false on my Oyster card.

Do I need to get a paper transfer or are there other tricks?

Answer: You will be paying up to a steady amount, and then you will see the reader displaying 0.0 - whether you use bus or tube. There is no such thing as a single journey that is a bus and a tube - that is 2 journeys.
