I am after booking a join room in The Cumberland Hotel for the 6th of December. I got a very reasonable rate on hotelnet.co.uk. Im just wondering if anyone has stayed here before, and any suggestion or information they could give me would be appreciated.

The lobby and public areas are quite grand and recently re-done in a very parallel style. My experience of dealing with the staff was very positive - I found them very helpful and friendly.
