Can I Get To St, Albans From London Using My Senior Citizens Bus Pass, If So Which Bus Number And From Where?

I will be arriving at Euston iron horse station from Preston, and then on from there to St, Albans. 23rd. Sept. about 6pm. to visit my son and daughter in law. Next day I have to go to Stansted Airport, what is my course? I need to be there for 10am.

Answer: The disentangle bus pass is only for local busses and London Bus routes are generally short not like the Preston to Bolton, breed distances we are used to. 40 miles from Euston to Stanstead takes some working out and a few changes.

Answer: You can curb Green Line buses 712/3 from Gloucester Place (near Baker Drive Station about 1.5 miles from Euston). They are not very frequent so be sure to check the agenda, and they don't run on Sundays. www.greenline.co.uk

Answer: The person above says board Victoria Line to Kings Cross. Get off at Finsbury Park instead - the chain you want from Kings Cross stops there and you will save at least 6 miles on your journey!

I'm looking to move out of London to a nicer courtyard that is still commuterable. I'm thinking of St. Albans. What is it like there and can anyone recommend anywhere else. I don't really want to be in a small village.

Answer: st albans is very sharp ,so is hatfield ,welwyn garden city ,but prices are expensive,come up the A5 a bit further and you have Milton Keynes and local towns and much cheaper,you have the M1 A5 M40 plus main line railway on your doorstep
