On The London Tube Map, Why Does Earl's Court Have An Apostrophe While Barons Court Doesn't?

Answer: Calamity of history. Inasmuch as anyone cares, it should probably really be Earls Court, since most other references to the limit don't have an apostrophe. Apparently the name on the tube map changed in the 50's and no-one really knowns why - my guess,

I've noticed from the tube maps that there are way fewer stations south of the Thames and I was inquiring as to why this might be. My colleague says that it's because the ground is to rocky but that sounds too flimsy for me, so does anyone have a legitimate

Where can I find private maps for tourists? Im looking for ones that show all the tourist attractions etc, (like those that can be seen on Disctrict Figure trains in London)
NOT regular tube maps, but those that have Buckignham Palace
Answer: Go to a school station and pick up a free 'The London Guide' book. Coloured map of Ldn,clearly shows attractions and even has own used of an adult bellboy for theatres..also has money off vouchers for many attractions and separate tube map
