Hampstead is not the highest since Highgate looks down on Hampstead. Also looks down on Muswell Hill. Any other suggestions? One other production of useless info - The Gatehouse Theatre in Highgate village is the highest amphitheatre in London at 446ft

If boodle is no object. I think many people feel Notting Hill, Chelsea, St Johns Wood etc. I've never been to West London but somehow I assume I prefer Highgate, Muswell Hill, Hampstead(Finchley even) kind of area. Anyway, where do you lean of these parts?
Answer: If riches is no object, Hampstead or Chelsea. If not quite so affluent, Islington. Great spirit, loads of restaurants, clubs, bars, cafes. Great transport links to everywhere. Extraordinary shopping and best of all everybody fits in.
