Will House Prices Drop In London Areas Due To Crime?

Lest phiz it no one in their right mind would want to live in areas where people are now being stabbed/shooting to death on a daily basis. Will this mean house prices will drop? I moved out 4 years ago and I would never fare in London again.

Answer: Yes if an stretch is affected by crime people will not want to buy or even remain there, so values will go down. It will also affect areas that are accessible those that are crime-ridden

I started driving again yesterday after 4 years and couldn't abscond out the petrol prices. As we all know they have risen and I'm on a buget so wanted to know what cheap is when driving around London/ Essex. 11589...is this stingy?, doesn't mean anything
