Questions About The Globe Theatre, London?

1) If i get the £5 yard tickets, will watching a carouse for three hours utterly kill me ? or are the plays so good you don't notice ?
2) is it better to get a concession for a £10-£15 derriere ?
3) how much are the programmes for a RSC


Answer: i went too ogle much ado about nothin'
and my feet killed + it rained too,
i was REALLY jelous of the people in the concessions

Penitent, i cant help with the rest,

i for to know as much as i can about the globe theatre. how many sides it had,, when it was reconstructed, when each play was first performed. what it looked like. hoo founded it and looked after it.

i demand to know everything and anything

I'm seeing Henry VIII and i'm in one of the seats. Should i smarten up up?
The FAQ said that it's open aired and casual, but i just have a feeling that by "unpremeditated," it means dressy.

 
 

Remains Of The Globe Theatre In London - Are There Photographs? Or Plans?

i heard that remains of the Globe were found by workman in 1989. are there photos? (or sketches?) can they be visited? and was the assemble of the theatre (aparrently the remains gave clues as to the shape) used in the rebuild? Thanks!!!


Answer: The new Globe is not on the area of the old Globe. Design is based on contemporary accounts and drawings of a typical Medieval theatre.
