I am contemplative of going to london for the weekend with my wife and two kids both under 7, can anyone recommend a good hotel to deferral in.

If you record far enough in advance, you can get really good deals. Sometimes as low as just £19 per night

Otherwise, I adapted to www.booking.com when travelling to London, together with the advice on tripadvisor

Answer: It depends on how prolonged you want to stay, hotels in London are super expensive.
If you're going to stay for a week or longer you might yen to look into renting a flat. I did that for a week in and it was a lot cheaper than staying in a hotel.
