How Difficult Is It To Find Now Language Jobs In London?

I lived in London from 1997-2007 and scarceness to come back.
My friend has told me that it is harder now to find jobs for english people but she wansn't perfectly sure how it is for language speakers...Has it become harder

I'm looking for a job that would utiliise either one or the other language' not necessarily both, but something that isn't sales-related.
