I would like to distinguish what is the nearest county to London? Does it have a beach? and how long does it take on the train?

you'll find beaches in Essex and Kent, and also in East and West Sussex (although they are not adjacent to London)

ahh signing up for something and it's asking me for my COUNTY and Burgh.. and im confused =S i can't leave one of them blank, do i put london in both? or is the county greater london?
Answer: London does seem to be a single situation in terms of county/city divisions, probably due to its enormous size.

Answer: London is a burg...and was called Londinium?...and was originally enclosed within a wall with gates!...this accounts for some London areas ending in "barrier" the wall has gone but the area names live on...
