What is the nearest bring up station, and what do I do when I'm at the station? Is a taxi is a good option to get to Oxford Street?

How many miles and by exercise....

also how many miles and time would it take from Scotland to Oxford [roughly]
probably Edinburgh

Answer: London Paddington to Oxford bus station takes about 1 hour and you should change at Reading station.

You'd need to make certain that you get the fast train as there are some slower trains that stop at all the stations in between.

Answer: i would say all things considered 40-50 minutes

you can either take the person advice above me or just take a DLR custom house (Eclipse) to Bank, than take a central line to oxford circus.

im universal to london i live in folkestone(which is sorta near canterbury just in case you havnt heard of it) on the string i think you can get a train that leads you straight out to oxford street isnt there?
can someone give me a list of all

Answer: To get there you would have to go to a first train station like Victoria or Charing Cross, whichever your caravan route will take you to, however with the excellent Underground system it wouldn't take you long to get from one of these to Oxford Street.

Where can I go on a day blunder by train or bus from London that's a bit different? People always suggest Oxford, Brighton etc but I've done those...Any ideas?
