How Do You Get From Kings Cross To St Pancras? Is 45 Minutes Long Enough?

I am looking at set tickets to Brussels from Newcastle. The train goes from Newcastle to Kings Cross then St Pancras to Brussels. With a 45 coup d'oeil gap between trains in London. Is that enough time from one to the other and how do you get there?
