Whats the nearest Commons and cheaper to travel from london ,Alton Tower or Thorpe Park?
For you what is the Best park from the 2?

Answer: Well, as a first - go to Thorpe Reservation. It's so much better and has loaaads more thrill rides. :)

From London to Thorpe Park it's about 45 minutes (I'll give you the way and instructions if you want..)
And from London to Alton

My sis and I are planning on growing to Alton towers in April and we would be leaving from London. What is the best way to get there and on an average what would it cost?

Answer: If you have a car the AA or RAC websites will give you a avenue that you can print out. They are excellent.

I distinguish it's a very long journey, but how would I go about getting from London to Alton Towers?

Say I am at London Waterloo ... where do I go?

Also do you know how much it would price? (probably a fortune, right?!)

Answer: You could take the Northern Stock to Euston, then Virgin Trains to Stoke-on-Trent. Booking your train victuals in advance at www.virgintrains.com could save you quite a bit. From Stoke, there is a special bus link, run by the Alton Towers Transfer Team,
