Basically due to downloading a lot of distinct shops have closed in Central London.
So I was wondering if there are any other shops around London that sell new independent music like Metal, Hip Hop, Jazz, Quarter etc.

Answer: Sounds Of The Corner and Sister Ray in Soho. FOPP on the corner of Shaftsbury Ave/Charing Cross Rd. Soho/Berwick St is the most beneficent area for record stores generally. I even buy from HMV on Oxford St - a stone's throw away from Sister Ray.
