Does The Old Oyster Card Work The Same As The Visitor Oyster Card?

I got an oyster card 6 years ago when I was in London. That is even with my particularity photo on. I am going to take my family to visit London soon and will get them Visitor oyster cards. I am not guaranteed if my own old oyster card will work the same

Answer: There is no differentiation in prices for discrete types of Oyster cards. The only exception is if you have a Railcard, in which case you can have the Railcard registered to the Oyster card and get 33% rebate.

I have a alter ego coming over from Sweden to London for 10 days basically i am trying to sort out an oyster card for her. Am cognizant of the visitor oyster card but that only seems to cover PAYG which is inconvenient and shes coming for 10 days and

I am booming to London on Monday, the Oyster card really isn't for 1 day visitors and I understand the travelcard is £7.50 and each celibate journey is £4.00. Is there any other way?
