Me and my friends longing to go to a beach for the day since it's summer. What is the closest and easiest to get to by train from london?

Answer: brighton has a big seashore, and is a really fun place. you can get there from london bridge station or victoria, takes an hour.

another courteous non-beach place to go is richmond, 20 mins from waterloo.

Answer: It varies. The 'big progression lines' like the Met and District are not very far below street level. They were built on the 'cut and cover' postulate whereby a street was lifted, the trench dug to take the railway, and then the street reinstated on top.

Answer: I adapted to to travel to London a lot, and the platform varied, it was often the platform to the far right, but not always.
