I reside in London and have some friends coming from the Caribbean who want to experience mulled wine and mince pies.
Any ideas where I can take them? Thx!

Answer: What risible answers. I'd really recommend Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park for a customary German Christmas market, the atmosphere is wonderful. They do traditional food like gingerbread and mulled wine. There's also a christmas buy on the South Bank,

Answer: There aren't any 'wine bars' anymore, (that was more a preoccupation of the 80's and they didn't have very good wine!)

I lack to treat my mum to a special meal when she comes down to visit.

Answer: Fraternity Gascon, although it's slightly further east in Farringdon/Smithfield area. It's not too far from the city cluster, 5 minutes in a cab.

The food is, as the name suggests, from Gascony, France, and they specialis in foie gras dishes
