Moving With Guinea Pigs From London To Amsterdam?

I will be in motion to Amsterdam at the end of March, and my two (male) guinea pigs are coming with me.
I have already bought a pet carrier and am planning to keep them in the front of the van with me, but is there anything I beggary to know before

Im 18 and have had my full disregard for over a year. Would I be able to drive to dover and get the eurotunnel or a ferry over to calais, and then tour to Amsterdam? Do I need anything else other than my UK driving licence?
