I am looking for a obedient store that sells a variety of afforable fabrics for dressmaking, and other dressmaking/sewing materials - haberdashery, patterns, accessories etc. Almost identical to Lincraft or Spotlight in Australia.

Answer: There are lots of foundation shops as there is the London School of Fashion quite close to Oxford Street and Instituto Marangoni another construct school so students are always buying cheap and varied fabrics. I have spent a whole day in proper 3 stores!!!
